Corey Crigler- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Community Volunteer
Corey Crigler Burgoyne, an accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon, has made significant contributions in her field. After graduating from the University of Tennessee as an honors scholar with a degree in biology, Corey Crigler pursued her interest in dentistry by attending the Medical University of South Carolina. She excelled academically, graduating summa cum laude as the second-honor graduate and conducting research with the craniofacial and otolaryngology departments.
Following dental school, Corey Crigler completed her residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical College of Virginia, serving as chief resident in her final year. She then joined Commonwealth Oral and Facial Surgery as an associate, eventually becoming a partner and diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She practiced with Commonwealth Oral & Facial Surgery for five years before advancing into her current position as partner and co-owner of Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Corey Crigler enjoys a wide variety of hobbies outside of work. She is an avid gardener, cook, and runner. She enjoys swimming and playing the piano. Corey Crigler is also committed to giving back to her community and has volunteered with various organizations, including the Augusta Regional Dental Clinic, and the Mission of Mercy projects.
Corey Crigler prioritizes time with her family, cherishing the moments she spends with her husband and children. She credits their love and support for allowing her to balance her successful career, personal interests, and community service.
